Just about any linux TCP service can be shared securely with the yoics daemon.

Simply edit the yoics.txt file with the port number of the service you wish to share. Also setting the application type to either one of the preset application types or an unused type for services not listed can make future integration with the Yoics desktop more integrated.

If you wish to share telnet, simply edit the yoics.txt file with the following values:

proxy_dest_port 21
application_type 2

Other services can be shared by changing the proxy_dest_port to the desired port number. If the application type is not listed in the yoics.txt file you can use the Generic TCP type other unused types. (Note that unused types can in the future be defined by yoics.)
