When using Kubuntu and firefox, to access the yoics.com or .net address. I log in, and then get presented with the normal window. When I click on the desktop link. I get the connection message on the right frame, and then it goes blank. and that's it. Normally, under a windows platform. after the connection message, I get a pop up, which states the connction type, and then I enter my password, and all is good to go.

Is there any specific reason I can't access the desktop on linux?

Do you have the Java plugin for your firefox browser?

The remote desktop needs Java to run.
