I attempted to upgrade the firmware via Internet Explorer, got to the blue bar screen, but never got any blue progress, just hung at 0%. I waited more than 15 minutes with no progress, so I went back to the main menu. However, I can no longer see the device on my network, the ipedit program won't pick it up, and of course I cannot ping it.
After some searching through this thread, I've found a couple others who have bricked their devices as well, but have been able to fix it via a serial. But with my limited experience, and the fact that these people did not explain how they unbricked their devices, I have no idea where to start.
I do have a USB to serial device that has +v, -, tx, rx, just don't know what program to work in. Hyperterminal? I have no idea what to do once I download hyperterminal. Also, what voltage does it require on the +v? 5v? 3.3v?
I really need some help to get me back online, and if possible, upgrade to the newest 2.47 firmware via serial as well.
